Elan 310 - performance cruiser with swing post

The 9.25 m Elan 310 from Slovenia is visiting Düsseldorf. This high-performance cruiser was especially designed for fast sailing and is fitted with two rudder blades for optimum incident flow, even when heeling. The steering wheel is mounted on a swing post in the cockpit and can be swung so that the helmsman always has the best possible view from the top rim of the wheel.

Dual controls would take up too much space in the cockpit. Other special features of the 3.75 t yacht built using a sandwich construction (GRP and foam) include the extendable carbon fibre gennaker bowsprit and a T-keel with a draught of 1.90 m. The two cabins and the saloon provide accommodation for up to six people.
