Dayracer 29 - 45 foot cockpit on 29 foot yacht

After two years of development and one year of field tests under all conditions, this is the first time db-yachtbau presents the Dayracer 29, probably the most elegant and most innovative representative in the class of modern Daysailers. The next model, the smaller version DR 17, is already in the pipline.

Equipment for demanding sailors
The Dayracer 29 offers everything a demanding sailor couple could wish for, but which is so far only known from yachts over 40 feet long: a huge cockpit, larger than the cockpit of a 45-foot yacht, a carbon mast and boom as well as a tiller or steering wheel, an innovative lighting concept. There is an electric motor, optional diesel engine, an electric toilet is optional, as well. Instead of a fixed keel, a hydraulic canting keel may be ordered. The boat also offers an elegant salon with 2 to 3 beds, a refrigerator and much more. In addition, the boat is trailerable.

Accommodation and washing facilities
The Dayracer 29 is built by db-yachtbau in Germany. At the exhibition, the current hull number 2 is shown, which is equipped with a fixed keel and tiller and has been sold to a customer in Austria. The hull number 1 with a canting keel and rudder sails in Flensburg. CEO Jan Duken: "The Dayracer 29 is the only trailerable Daysailer under 30 feet which offers not only a huge cockpit, but also an elegant saloon with accommodation and washing facilities, in case the owners spontaneously decide to sleep on the boat.
