Nimbus 25 Paragon - Lower in the water

When designing the Nimbus 25‘ Paragon, Sakari Mattila followed the advice of the coast guard and rescue crews. The Nimbus is conceived as a day boat for rough seas. The plastic hull, with an angle of 26.5°, has a very deep bilge, and was also fitted with two extra floats on the outside to give it greater stabilit even on tight bends.
Main deck and wheelhouse
To keep the boat’s centre of gravity as low as possible, the cabin floor is lower than the main deck. The main deck is free of potential tripping hazards all the way around the centrally positioned wheelhouse. The utilitarian cabin features a captain’s and a co-pilot's seat behind the helm stand as well as a sofa for guests. A skylight allows the captain and co-pilot to look out through the roof for a better view. A 260 hp engine gives this boat a racy top speed of 38.5 knots.
