Jever SUP World Cup Hamburg 2010 begins on 27 August 2010

The JEVER SUP World Cup Hamburg will be held from 27 - 29 August 2010. Called the world famous SUP flat water event, it is a PRO / AM SUP competition in the HafenCity of Hamburg, Germany. After the huge success of the premiere in 2009, the world best SUP pros and amateurs will battle again for a price money of 15.000€.

Lots of action on land
But you do not need to be on the water necessarily to have a blast at the JEVER SUP World Cup Hamburg 2010. Besides thrilling races in Pro and AM Classes, there are a lot of other things offered to the spectators - the possibilities range from a fresh Jever beer in a laid-back atmosphere to yummy gastronomic specialities to a lot of action.

Try out Stand Up Paddling
All of you who always wanted to try the popular new sport or are already infected by the SUP-Virus can borrow material for free in the showroom of the surf legend Robby Naish and explore the traditional town canals while practising. Those who already feel safe on the water can try a little test course or compete with others to get a glimpse of contest atmosphere. In addition, in the “SUP Village” experts will inform you about the latest trends, products and materials in the surfing industry.

JEVER SUP World Cup goes Beach Club
Every World Cup needs to be opened with a proper party and so in Hamburg a special celebration night is waiting for you. Due to the Hawaiian roots of SUP we will celebrate at a Beach Club. On Friday at 8 pm at the Beach Club HAMBURG del mar, St. Pauli Landungsbrücken / Parkdeck, 20359 Hamburg, everything will be ready for a great night. Listening to good music and with a cold Jever in your hand you are able to enjoy the scenic view of the harbour of Hamburg and prepare for a weekend dedicated to sport and good fun. And maybe you will even meet a Surf Pro. Entrance is for free.
