Featherweight - the Beach II
With a dry deadweight of 14 kg, the Beach II is one of the lightest folding boats ever to hit the market. And it fits into a 1.10-metre-high and 30-centimetre-wide rucksack for transport to and from the water. Once erected, its 4m length and 80 cm width provides room for two people. The Nautilon skin of Trevira PVC is stretched over an aluminium skeleton with framing. The exhibitor describes the Beach II as robust, reliable, directionally stable and (with stabilisers) capsize-resistant.
