Located in the Baltic Sea, the Nordic Archipelago is the largest of Europe and gives the possibility to create an exceptional course through the difficulties of wonderful landscapes. Sandhamn, Möja, Fejan, Rödlöga, Finhamn, Hangö, Utö, Kökar... the romantic names of the islands become the daily nightmare of the competitors. Rocks and Islands everywhere, the Archipelago is one of the most difficult area for the navigation.

Route of 500 nautical miles between check points
More than 500 nautical miles. An unique course drawn among the 100 000 rocks and islands. On the way, the competitors have to find 20-25 check points located on islands (pontoons, beaches, boats, lighthouses, buoys…). Before the start of the event, the competitors receive the Archipelago Raid Book with the position (latitude, longitude) of the different checkpoints and head quarters. The competitors are free to choose their route between two checkpoints.
