Lagoon 440 - Debut in Germany

With the Lagoon 440, the Lagoon catamaran brand owned by the French Bénéteau Group elegantly fills the gap between the Lagoon 410-S2 and the Lagoon 470. The 10.5t, 13.61m long Lagoon 440 is characterised among other things by a fixed bimini top extending over the flybridge. The latter houses a central helm position with an outstanding 360-degree panoramic view. The catamaran has been designed for cruising on the high seas with comfort, speed and safety.
The exhibitor describes the stability of this craft as sensational, while also emphasising excellent workmanship and easy handling - even under gale force winds. All the controls are within easy reach of the helmsman. "The Lagoon 440 has virtually been co-designed by the customer,” claims general importer Siegfried Traub, "because the Lagoon 440 is nothing less than a faithful implementation of the many wishes voiced by innumerable Lagoon lovers everywhere.” The sail area is 115m2, and there is a choice between two Volvo Penta diesel engines developing 40 or 55 HP metric (29 or 40 kW).
