European Powerboat of the Year 2008

Seven leading European powerboat magazines elected among 90 recently launched motor boats and motor yachts the best powerboats of the year in four different categories. The four winners of the European Powerboat Awards 2008 have been presented in the course of a celebratory gala during the „boot Düsseldorf“ boat show (19th to 27th January 2008):

• Category up to 30 ft: Goldfish 30SC
  
• Category up to 40 ft: Fjord 40 Open
  
• Category up to 50 ft: Sunseeker 43 Superhawk
  
• Category 50 ft and more: Pershing 72
  

Independent and professional
A jury of chief editors and professional test drivers elect from all European powerboats launched in the previous year the most interesting models in four different categories of length. Safety, workmanship, driving characteristics, handling performance, room layout, price/performance ratio and, last but not least, appearance are being examined thoroughly. The shortlist already gives a good overview on trends and novelties:
