Levanto 38 - the ideal middle class

With the Levanto series, the steel motoryacht builder from Zuidbroek in the north of Holland combines classical design with contemporary building techniques. After the successful introductions of the Levanto 44’ and 32’, this winter the Levanto 38’ will be presented on boot 2008 in Düsseldorf, where all 3 models will be on display at the same time.

The development of the latest addition to the Pedro product range is based on the proven concept of the Levanto series. The Levanto 38’ meets the demand for a classically shaped ship between 11 and 12 metres long. With a beam of 4.05 metre and a length of 11.55 metres the Levanto 38’ is the ideal mix between space on the one hand and manoeuvrability on the other.

Perfectly solid hull
The Levanto 38’ is a combination of more than 35 years of experience in steel yacht building. One of the things Pedro-Boat excels in is the basis of every ship; the body. The way in which the ribs are applied, for instance, is considered unusual by many. André van der Velde, responsible for product development at Pedro-Boat: “The combination of our construction and the Pedro 2-component Coating System provides for a perfectly solid and tight hull. In the end, this is a much more durable product that will retain its value a lot longer”.

Price/quality ratio extremely good
Expectations are high at the shipyard in Zuidbroek. Based on the experiences with the Levanto 44, the Levanto 38’ also has the ingredients to become succesful. Ivar van der Leij, responsible for marketing, explains: “First of all, the design, which is the result from our cooperation with Vripack, is well-thought. It has a sturdy, yet elegant and harmonious form, which appeals to many people. Besides that, the price/quality ratio is extremely good. We can achieve this by building and selling 55 to 60 steel motor yachts each year. This gives us a significant price advantage when purchasing our materials."
