Ferretti 551 - revamped styling lines

Ferretti has launched a successor to the 550 in the form of the flybridge model 551 (17.37m, celebrating its German premiere). In keeping with the revamped styling lines adopted by the yard, this new craft has been provided with an interior finished in light oak and large panoramic windows in the owner’s stateroom amidships.

The somewhat sharper cut exterior lines give the craft a lighter appearance than her predecessor. The large folding window at the rear end of the saloon has, however, remained, and this together with the sliding doors enables it to merge almost seamlessly with the open cockpit. There are two guest cabins in the forward section and two MAN diesel engines each rated at 900 HPmetric for speeds of up to 33.5 kn (62 km/h).
