Riva - showcasing three German debutantes
56 Sportriva
Riva is showcasing three German debutantes: the 33 Aquariva Cento (10.07m), the 56 Sportriva (16.96m) and the 63 Vertigo (19.57m).
Originally, the Aquariva Cento was intended as a one-off – the craft carrying serial number 100 of the Aquariva line (10.07m). This sports boat exudes the legendary Riva style with wooden deck and shallow hull offering a small cabin in the forward section. However, this special version was so successful that it is now being duplicated in series production and is on show at boot 2008.
Helmsman’s position atop
The 56 Sportriva is a flybridge motor yacht with a helmsman’s position atop, two sun loungers and the Riva-typical cylinder-winged radar arch. Located on the main deck are the saloon and internal control position. Below can be found cabins for the owner and guests plus one for the skipper with access through the galley.

Riva’s latest development in the Open range is the 63 Vertigo. At the push of a button, aerofoil-like extensions rise up on either side of the boat. With the backs being manually swung into place, these wings serve as extra passenger seats at the helm station. The 63 Vertigo has benefited from a number of excellent details taken from other boats. The hull, extended by a couple of feet, emanates from the 59 Mercurius. And the arrow-shaped, dark-coloured hull strip known as “la freccia” was a feature of the 52 Rivale. It conceals the various shapes of the heavily tinted windows, rendering them almost invisible. With two MAN 12-cylinder engines each rated at 1,360 HPmetric, the Vertigo can reach top speeds of 40.7 kn (75 km/h).
