Corsair Dash 750 - compact and easily trailerable

The 7.40m long Corsair Dash 750, which has its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf, has now replaced the widely used Corsair 24 MK II. The latter, although no longer being built, served as the model for the new boat, which is compact and easily trailerable like all Corsair trimarans. Compared with its predecessor, the new boat has more space below deck. This is because the modified deck profile, which is no longer as rounded, has increased the volume as well as making passage across the deck considerably easier.

The floats have been optimised further and provided with greater buoyancy. The dagger boards and rudder, both made of aluminium, are now retractable and the bowsprit can also be retracted. The greater stability permits a sportier, rotating rig, making the boat faster and more enjoyable for the yachtsman to sail. Easy to handle, even with a small crew, this vessel makes it a real joy to be out on the water when setting the asymmetrical spinnaker or screecher. "The Corsair Dash 750 is a lightweight boat, extremely fast and good-natured to sail without any important safety aspects being sacrificed on board," says the exhibitor. He puts its potential speed at 20 knots.
