Round Turn with two Half Hitches (Rolling Hitch)
A round turn with two half hitches, formerly known as a rolling hitch, comes in handy when a line is already under tension, since you can tie it with one hand while holding the line taut with the other.

Take two turns through the ring or around the post.

Then the running part goes round the standing part and through the second round turn to form a clove hitch.

It is more secure to finish off with a second half hitch.
Caution: This knot can be difficult to untie.
