Beneteau Oceanis 38 - sailing dreams - awarded EYOTY 2014!
The new Beneteau Oceanis 38 is nominated for the "European Yacht of the year" Award 2014 in the "Family cruiser" category. Bénéteau is presenting its new Oceanis 38, an 11.5 m yacht, with a revolutionary concept. Its basic furnishings are in the loft style, but fully extensible. The customer can thus configure the boat of his dreams from the three versions of Daysailer, Weekender and Cruiser.
The OC38 Daysailer appeals with its spacious and cosy interior and a noble cockpit. The comfortable descent into the interior leads to a main bulkhead without partition walls, which conveys a feeling of endless space. With its reduction to the essential, the Daysailer reflects the creative and contemporary spirit of the Oceanis design.
On the OC38 Weekender variant, one can choose between two types of furnishing (two or three ready-to-build cabins) and individually design them: open or closed cabins, separate shower compartment, fitted galley, occasional table for above and below deck, seats for the helmsman.
The OC38 Cruiser variant has a slightly more traditional aura with two or three separate cabins. Thanks to the possibility of completely removing the bulkhead of the forecastle, the cruiser can be given the same loft-like atmosphere as its two sisters. The large galley overlooks the saloon which has space for up to six persons.
